Core Judo Staines Turns 1!

One year ago, I set out to open a satellite club of core coaching — and what a journey it’s been.

Massive thank you to @corecoaching for the support. 

We started with zero school partnerships and just 10 founding members. Today, we proudly work with 9 local schools and have grown far beyond those original numbers.

It’s especially rewarding to see many of those original members still training with us — and even starting their competition journeys as of last month.

A huge thank you to the schools we partner with, especially St Michael’s School in Ashford, who go above and beyond to host our club. And of course, thank you to the parents and students who support me every single day.

I’m also incredibly grateful to the coaching team:

Coach Vlod, who helped launch the club and continues to support us when he can.

Coach Cam, who shows up every week despite his own full-time training schedule.

And Coach Adam, who is learning the ropes and setting a brilliant example for the children.

To all our other coaches who come in and deliver at camps Coach Phil, Coach Lele, Coach Stanley, Coach Reece and Coach Frankie and Coach Hardy- the efforts are always so appreciated 

Year one is complete — here’s to many more.
